Using materials acquired for class instructed by Professor, glass mug was photographed with great attention to shadows using a light pad and white backdrop. Selected image was to enhance the shadows the light created in contrast with the light pad. Those shadows were to be translated onto Adobe Illustrator only using glass mug’s outline/grid. Recorded lines in Illustrator were individual pieces carefully placed to portray the mug’s shape and shadows without attempting to trace all lines.
